Pedagogy of Freedom
Satish Kumar/ 72
Satish Kumar is a former Jain monk and long-term peace

am”. He settled in the UK in 1973, where he went on to found
Schumacher College.

recover the original and actual meaning of the noble word ‘education’. I want
schools and teachers to return to the true meaning of the word and dedicate
themselves to the cause of helping young people to discover their vocation.”
